Love, Death + Robots: Volume 4 brought Rouge Studios’ back to collaborate once again with visionary creator Tim Miller and director David Fincher.
This acclaimed animated anthology series has captivated audiences worldwide with its bold exploration of science fiction, fantasy, horror, and comedy through world-class animation, and we were honored to contribute our expertise to bringing these diverse, visceral stories to life.
Our role centered on full performance capture (PCAP) and post-processing, capturing the nuanced human performances that helped to give grounding to these fantastical narratives. Through meticulous post-processing, we refined each performance to meet the exacting standards of Blur Studio and Netflix, contributing to the anthology’s reputation for pushing the boundaries of what animated storytelling can achieve. From the innovative marionette artistry of “Can’t Stop” – recreating the Red Hot Chili Peppers’ legendary 2003 concert at Slane Castle – to the deeply personal journey of grief and vengeance in “Spider Rose,” our work ensured that every character moment resonated with viewers.
